Dessert!. I almost forgot, but probably the best thing about this restaurant is the tempura green tea ice cream! Yes, you heard right, a japanese restaurant’s answer to mexican deep-fried ice cream. Except, this version is seriously tasty, with a cake-like hot layer of tempura on the outside with fabulous green tea ice cream in the middle. If you’ve never had green tea ice cream, don’t worry; you won’t be disappointed because plenty of my friends have been converted to its deliciousness by this dessert!20 Jun, 2008Awesome Korean Food. So, the Teriyaki is cheap here, but it really sucks. HOWEVER: if you like Korean food, this is the place to eat. They have huge portions (enough to take home for anther meal or two) and awesome dishes. I love their Kimchi Ji Gae (kimchi soup) and their Kimchi bokumbap (kimchi fried rice). Also recommended: their sizzling and delicious bolgogi and the seriously yummy beebimbap. Actually, anything on the korean side of the menu is just fabulous. Best part is, usually you can get a dinner (plus extra meals later) for under $7! Don’t believe all the bad hype about them because most people haven’t tried their korean food and I am convinced the crappy japanese food they are named for is a cover to keep it flying under the radar. They are much better than UT, which is right next door!
