Fontina Mac & Cheese. We take the kids to happy hour and get 3 of these to share between the 2 of them (ages 5 and 8). They love it and proclaim Pair to be their favorite restaurant in Seattle.27 Oct, 2014Cambozola Fondue. Dare I call this their signature dish? It’s delicious and the first thing I order every time I go.

Fantastic drinks, food–and SERVICE.. Pair is a simple yet elegant neighborhood restaurant which features small plates of nicely prepared ingredients. They also have a small bar which produces excellent cocktails–the negroni and ginger whiskey sour are both excellent. What sets Pair (and its affiliated restaurant, Franks Oyster House and Champagne Parlor) apart, however, is the service. Even though neither restaurant makes you feel like you should be dressed more nicely than you probably are (as some fine dining restaurants do), you always are treated with exceptional service. The servers are well informed, friendly, and appropriately attentive. It’s such a pleasant surprise in comparison to the otherwise mediocre standard of service you find at many Seattle dining establishments. Tip: Pair is a nice place for a meal on a Summer evening, as they open the front doors wide open giving the restaurant a nice, airy feel.

Wonderful!. This is one of the times where you find oneself in quite a predicament. It’s Happy Hour, everything looks great and you’re hungry.OK I didn’t have all the appetizers, just 5 out of 7. I didn’t plan on dessert but how can I resist the banana bread pudding surrounded with walnuts, accompanied with some vanilla ice cream and drizzled with caramel sauce?I need someone to drive me home……..
