My hidden, hole in the wall of happy lunching. I love this place. The owner is so nice and the prices are so reasonable (lunch specials include a drink – no tipping allowed!). I love her chicken and tofu in sunrice sauce. I don’t love the beef, as I find the texture to be a bit tough. Her kimbap rolls are good, and when it’s fresh, the chapchae is flavorful and has a good mouthfeel. Whole Foods sells some of her stuff, too, but it’s nowhere near as good as if you get it fresh. Unfortunately, she’s only open for a few hours – for lunch – Mon through Thurs.
