Great pizza!. Finally ordered Abby’s for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the honey BBQ wings, a large thin crust pizza with 1/2 Sicilian & 1/2 Hometown Hero, and a large pizza deep dish with 1/2 Original BBQ chicken and 1/2 Steak lonestar BBQ pizza. The wings were had great BBQ flavor without being drenched in the BBQ sauce. The thin crust had a crispy crust and held up well to the numerous toppings. The Sicilian had great flavor and was a new take on a traditonal pizza. The Hometown Hero was a well made traditional pizza with flavorful meats and crunchy bell pepper strips. The deep dish crust had a crunchy outside with a soft inside. It is not a Chicago deep dish, but closer to a pan pizza. The Original BBQ chicken pizza was good, but the Steak Lonestar BBQ pizza was a surprise. The steak was tender and balanced with the juicy pineapples and smoky bacon. It is more expensive when compared to chain pizza joints, but it is worth the expense if you only eat pizza once in the while. I will be ordering again.
Great place. Great pizza and nice and casual. The pizza was excellent…I don’t know what those others were talking about. We live close by and there are 5 other pizza spots just as close but we love the pizza at Abby’s. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place where you can not worry about the kids bothering someone but Abby’s is perfect.
Update 6/12/16: Gave this place another try years later, and they did much better. I still stand by my original review for my previous experience, though. A bunch of us came in, and they took very good care of us all at lunch… Hard to Make a Bad Pizza…. But this place did. We decided to give this place a try, because it was one of the only non-chain pizza joints in Wenatchee. I won’t say it’s like your standard frozen grocery store model, but it’s barely above that. The crust is really hard to explain. It’s like they tried to make a buttery-flakey Chicago style crust, but in a thin crust size. It doesn’t work. The only guess I have is that the crust is pre-fab. Toppings, sauce and cheese were all unremarkable. It’s really hard to dissappoint me when it comes to pizza. A non-destination place in Wenatchee for my family…
Worst puzza in the world under cooked and to many toppings
