Awesome pizza buffet!. We kept driving past Godfather’s and I remember having seen the chain as a kid, so I was curious to try it out. Turns out it’s a lot of fun! The pizza is flavorful, perfectly cooked, with a nice medium-thick crust, good tasty sauce and a fun selection of toppings including some novel options like salami (which makes a nice upgrade from boring-vanilla pepperoni). The pizza is reminiscent of Little Caesars–though it’s most like Round Table if you’ve been there.I was shocked to see they have a real arcade–a dying breed nowadays, with a Ninja Turtles side-scroller, a carnival themed shooter, a couple of driving games, the Terminator pinball game (fun!) and–I kid you not–Smash TV (a rotary shooter game from the 90’s that’s very Hunger Games–and great gory fun).Though by far the big selling point for this place is their pizza buffet. You get endless pizza in a half a dozen novel flavor combinations, a decent salad bar, various bread sticks and dessert pizzas–even cinnamon buns! Amazing value and awesome food. The restaurant itself consists of a counter up front with the buffet/salad bar and window seating booths on the left with a view of the street, but also drafty in the winter. The righthand side is a bunch of little four seater tables, the arcade, drink machine and a couple of long tables for big parties. All the decor is dark brown stained rough wood with dark painted walls and dark carpets. Not huge on atmosphere, but comfy.
