Julie. So good!!!!! The owner is always there ask him what to order. The buffet is for those in a hurry or for those who don’t want spicy food. I recommend ordering off the menu and asking for at least medium spicy. Now that I have discovered this restaurant I will eat there often and use for takeout service as well!!! Our Valley needs some more quality, locally owned restaurants like this!!!! Love!!!!!!!!
Update 6/12/16: Been back a few times over the years. Always for dinner, so we’ve never tried the buffet, yet. Still as wonderful as ever, and it looks like Wenatchee is supporting them quite nicely… Fine Sub-Continent Dining…. Fabulous decor and ambiance. Professional and impeccable service. And the best Indian cuisine we have enjoyed in Eastern WA. We rolled the dice with our 11-year old daughter, knowing we could order dishes that she would like if she just…took…one…bite. She loved it. And we had her at appetizer. Veg samosas and pakoras with the tamarind sauce and chutneys on the side had her hooked. The rest was easy, especially since the flavors of all the dishes were spectacular. And did our young one ever feel special when the chef/owner came out and asked how everything was. My wife and I were euphoric–not just for the quality of the food–but for the entire evening. Fine dining that the whole family can enjoy. Show your young ones more than just the kids’ menu at a chain restaurant…

Sad.. I was beyond excited to try India House, finally a little variety for the valley! What a horrid disappointment. Upon entering the restaurant I was immediately in love with the atmosphere and decor. Beautiful and warm. The menu was broad and had plenty of options for all tastes. The waiter wasn’t courteous or helpful at all, never offering any assistance with the menu or going any sort of extra mile for us. He seemed almost put out or annoyed by our presence and was just going through the motions. The food was delivered and the server turned to leave us, not bothering to ask us if we needed anything or saying much of anything, really. My friend had to get up and approach him more than once to ask for things, even though we were the only table in the whole place. The food was served in much smaller portions than I was expecting, especially for $14 an entree. We ordered 2 entrees and they were both painfully bland. Not flavorful whatsoever! The Butter Lamb was grisly, the sauce was decent. And the Vegetable Nirvana was terrible. It literally had no flavor to it. Wanting to give it another chance, I decided to order the Butter Chicken instead to take home for my boyfriend, thinking to myself the chicken would probably turn out better, and requested medium heat to maybe add a little more depth to it. My boyfriend found a bone in his meat.. Which by the way definitely wasn’t chicken!! It’s as if they had leftovers of the Lamb we had eaten in the restaurant and just scraped the pot into a to go container! It was NOT spicy and seemed more bland than the first! Fifty dollars later, we left the restaurant stunned and awkward. This restaurant has such potential if they could get the right servers in there to add that note of warm and friendly customer service, and if they could kick up the flavor a few notches. I don’t think I’ll be back. It’s really a shame, such a let down….
Authentic & Delicious. So glad I convinced my boyfriend to try something a little out of the ordinary! The service here was some of the best I have received in a long time, the food was authentic & full of decadent flavors, and the atmosphere was romantic & cozy. We tried the lamb vindaloo and the paneer pasanda and were very happy with our picks; we will definitely be back.
Not great!. I’ve been to India House three times, but I doubt I’ll go again.On the first occasion, a week after its opening, the food was bland and the service disorganized. After waiting so long for an Indian restaurant to in open Wenatchee it was a disappointing experience, but I put it down to teething problems with a new business and resolved to visit again.On the second occasion I tried the week day lunch buffet with a view to sampling more dishes. The selection of dishes was OK, but they were all bland and, I’m sorry to say, not well prepared.Tonight was my third visit to the restaurant, and I tried the Ginger Chicken, which was described on the menu as an authentic Indian dish, spicy and aromatic. As I’d never seen this on the menu of any Indian restaurant I’ve eaten at (and there have been many) I thought I’d give it a try. What I was served could have come straight from the Chinese food deli section of Safeway, or any Chinese restaurant buffet. Very, very, disappointing indeed.
Very luscious food. The food was quite sumptuous. I really relished it and for sure that I`ll recommend your restaurant to my kith n kins. I am quite pleased with this restaurant service coz it is very fast .
