Been coming to McGlinns for years. This past year they may have changed cooks but I’ve had 2 dinners here- a roast chicken that was dry and still cold in the middle from the fridge, and tonight Alaska salmon that is not cooked though. Maybe time to look for a new weekly supper stop ?
Excellent late night dinner. Kid friendly. Busy at 10pm! Salads, homemade soup, tenderloin – all outstanding. German chocolate cake was to die for: just like I remembered. People all genuinely friendly. Great evening, would go back in a sec.
We had dinner at this restaurant and it was a terrible disappointment. We went early and there were not that many people at the time however there were 6 waitresses on duty and yet we had to wait way too long for anyone to come to see what we wanted. My husband ordered pizza that was extremely skimpy with almost no pizza sauce or toppings, and the crust was so thin I swear you could see through it. It was hard and tasteless. I ordered a hamburger that was also very bad. The quality of the ground beef was terrible. There was a lot of bits of grissel in the meat. I will say the beer was good Bootjack IPA. The atmosphere could be considered good but it was ruined by the bad food and poor service. We will not go back.
Great for lunch and dinner, but amazing for breakfast! The service is consistently great and the atmosphere is friendly and warm. Get there before 11 am for lunch or 5 pm for dinner for choice seating and to avoid waiting in line, but even with a wait the food is reward enough. The server will always have suggestions for beverages and food, and I’ve never once left without a full and happy belly!
Food was great and the service was wonderful. The lady from Thiland was fun! Will be back!!!!
Awesome pizza!!. I was in town visiting for a conference and a couple of friends and I went there for dinner. It was a bit on the busy side, but worth the short wait. I had the sun dried tomato pizza and it was delicious!! I highly recommend it. The other two I was with got sandwiches which they said were pretty tasty too. I highly recommend a visit to this place if you are in town.
Amazing. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Wonderful atmosphere, great for the whole family. Delicious food, tempting desserts, hearty drinks. The price is spot on for the amazing service and exquisite dining experience. Hands down best eats around town, and we know great food where I’m from 🙂 (that’s Portland BTW)
