Will return. We were visiting from Spokane and found Shaktis online. We were very impressed with the taste and presentation of the food and I had the best well martini I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was a little dated but we can’t wait to go back in the summer and eat on the beautiful patio. My one complaint would be the wine list/prices. For example, I pay $10 for a bottle of Porttues at the grocery store and they are charging $9 PER GLASS. No place in Spokane marks their wine up that much. Happy hours specials were appreciated!

Pricey mediocrity with a relaxed environment. My husband and I visited Shakti’s for dinner during a long weekend visit to Wenatchee for the enjoyable wineries. Here’s the short and simple: Calamari: flash fried, not breaded, delicious sauce. Thumbs up. Best part of the meal. Mista salad: I requested a small because I ordered a filet for dinner. The salad had about 15 leaves of spinach in it and the dressing was bland. Thumbs down. Skip the salad. Filet: both of us ordered the six ounce filet medium rare. It was served a smidge shy of well and was certainly not six ounces. Thankfully, the peppercorn and the cream-based sauce overpowered the over-cooking. It was accompanied by roasted asparagus, which were soggy, and proclaimed whipped potatoes, which were chunky. Skip the steak. One redeeming quality of the eats at Shakti … The bread and olive oil mixture was tasty! In my opinion, by-pass dinner, hit up the 4:30 – 6 p.m. happy hour with $5 off appetizers, inexpensive martinis, $3 Stella’s and a short, but cheap wine by the glass list. 11/12/11

Is there good food in Wenatchee?. Shakti’s once had a very good wine list (Boudreaux wines) and a good menu… we liked the rabbit. Then it was if there was a new owner. No rabbit, no good wines….,mediocre food, ,mediocre menu. Same owner but we were told the wines and rabbit didn’t sell in Wenatchee. That same night our waitress was busy with a large group in the bar. It took 45 minutes after a 30 minute wait for menus, to get a cocktail and our dinners came out first. Every one’s reaction was…..tough!I realize we’re In Wenatchee but is that really an excuse for mediocrity? Maybe it is.

I have no idea why there is only a 70% like it rate for this restaraunt. The food is amazing. We went for our anniversary. I think its the best food I have ever had.

You just gotta try it!. Incredibly gifted chef with amazing diversity!! I have to find a reason to stay in Wenatchee just to have an excuse to go to this place! Happy hour is a great time to go. The 218 spicy prawns were incredible..spicy hot with the slight underpinnings of tang and a slight sweetness. The lamb was superb as was the puttanesca! If you ask, they will likely make the chefs blue cheese creamy risotto with whatever you want. Great spot!!! We’ll sure be back!

Excellent all-around restaurant. Shakti’s has the best all around food for the best price with the best atmosphere in Wenatchee hands down. In other words, if you’re taking your gal on a quiet romantic date, this is where you take her. It’s nice but not stuffy nice if that makes sense. In other words its not uncomfortably quiet. And this is where you take a few people if they all like different types of food. I can’t take steak/pork lovers to my favorite seafood place in town which is Smokeblossom but I can here. They have pasta, pork, chicken, lamb, steak, seafood, etc.. everyone wil find something they like. And they will really like it a lot. The portions are just right. You do not go home hungry but quite full. Great presentation and the price for the main courses are in the $18-$24 range. The service from the waitstaff is always professional and the drinks from the bar are always top notch. The very classy bar/lounge is separate from the dining area btw. The only criticism I have is I think they charge an arm and a leg for what you get with their appetizers. They are delicious but not worth $12-$13 for what little you get. Reprice them at $7-$8 and I’ll order them more often!
