I didn’t even know there was an Easy Street location with a cafe attached so we were super excited to stumble upon it. We went for brunch, smack in the middle of the farmers market happening literally right outside so they were pretty busy. After a half hour wait we were sat at a booth connected to another table of 3 (still private enough..). I ordered the James Browns with spicy chorizo and he got the Bennie and the Jets (Eggs Benedict… Adorable.) The food was great! Super flavorful and came out HOT. Espresso was a little too bitter for my taste, and the service was only okay, but they were obviously pretty busy. The atmosphere is awesome and shopping for records/CDs is a great way to pass time while waiting for your table!

Good food, great coffee, and Dominique – fantastic waitress. First of all, I am not a Seattle, West Seattle, or Junction native but I have been visiting from So Cal for the past 5 years and always enjoy my time there. Yes, the main reason I started shopping there was for the music, but I also go back to eat breakfast and enjoy the service and smiles given by Dominique. She has a way of spreading the happiness and poring the coffee. I have seen too many reviews here complaining but in the two week increments I stay up here, I see a lot of people returning. Love it!Move

LOVE Easy Street!. One year ago, I moved to W Seattle from Green Lake. Like the Sunlight Cafe (a Seattle standard for good Original Cafe), Easy Street’s staff have minds of their own; they’re real. After months,, we entered the ‘trusted regular’ category of patrons; but think that doesn’t happen at Sunlight? WRONG. It is one reason these places are not just ‘Another Restaurant’. I love the opportunity to hear music other than 70s-80s greats (treasures to be sure); so the sound is a mix of current and classic. My preference! The sun streams in the southern exposure, and I have my favorite: Green Day salad and poached eggs. It’s a relaxed, unpretenscious, basic foods cafe. And I dig it. Call me happy.

Fake wanna be’s. Come here from time to time and it’s always the same when the chic are working….wanna be grunge skanks, but there just unwashed horrible waitress garbage…..the place is like a dumpster that serves food and plays stupid music…only the kitchen help seem to care thus the food is decent…prices are cheap so that’s why people (my self included) obviously come back…

Never had good service. Not sure why i go back, but service sucks everytime. Asking a server something seems to make them angry. Coffee is great, but even the service at the counter can be an ordeal. Why hire people who make it a point to be rude? Customer service has been forgotten at the Easystreet Cafe. Will never go back, so many better places to go in West Seattle.

Music Themed Breakfast Options!. From price to portions to service and all other things considered, no one comes close to this funky little dive in West Seattle. Our server, Dominique was a breath of fresh air in a city where most people would not help you if you were on fire, literally. The food was fresh, coffee good and there is plenty to keep you busy during the wait, as half of it is a music store. All choices are named after iconic music acts and I did not go wrong with the Suzy Q. Now, the reasons I cannot give this restaurant a like: Their meat choices are very bland and not at all worthy to be served or paid for. After three visits, it is obvious there is not enough seating and what there is, usually is right in the hot sun and it makes the experience miserable. The hosts need a hug or role model or something that would resemble a personality. Lastly, if you do not go on a weekend when Dominique is working, the service is horrible. Close but no cigar.
