Delicious and simple. Last Saturday I had a delicious meal here. The place is very cozy, complete with its over-sized chairs. The food was delicious and very well priced for the quality. I had Turkish rice with Chicken in a tomato sauce (can’t remember the Turkish name …). It was delicious. The flavors were simple and robust. And, the sauce wasn’t heavy. It felt healthy and light, but definitely satisfying. They also had a decent wine selection. Had a good Syrah that complemented the meal well.
Great food, iffy service. Worth going though for sure, and I’m going to give them one more shot.
Thanks Jonna!. My friend’s anniversary treat. I really loved the flatbread with humus and eggplant. My friend and my husband were generous enough to share their meal with me. Tasty!!! I am coming back for sure. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Excellent service, great atmosphere.
Pitta and hummus heaven. It’s worth the trip there just for the Ephesus appetizer plate which includes warm pita bread and four different dips. Seriously yummy. I’m salivating just thinking about it. Kebabs were good too, but the star of the meal was definitely the appetizer.
Meat on stick. I always forget about this place, and I don’t know why because the food is delicious. The hummus and pita is the best around it’s just perfect not too thick not too thin, not to garlicy everything about it is just right and the bread is a cross between pita and naan in the most perfect way. They offer all kinds of kabobs you can get any kind of meat on a stick, beef, chicken, lamb, shrimp, fish, etc you get the picture. You won’t go wrong with any of them and their rice is a Turkish rice which is like a much of little pillows that are meant to go in your mouth. To top it off the service is always stellar they are attentive and know their menu inside and out and can assist you in making a decision if you are tossed between a handful of items. Next time you are driving down California Ave and you’re hungry stop at the pink house and check out Ephesus.
Wonderful!. After spending a year in Izmir, Turkey (45 min drive to Ephesus) my wife (Turkish) yearned for some authentic Turkish food. To say that Ephesus hit a home run is a grose understatement! It was absolutly delicious, and the staff treated us like we we’re family. The warm pita was amazing, and the entire meal reminded me of sitting at the great restaurants on the banks of the Agean in Izmir. The atmoshpher, especially the open grill made the experience that much better. I can’t wait to go back!
Authentic turkish food in WA. Hands down the best Turkish cuisine I’be had since living in turkey. Make sure you order the hummus it is amazing also try some Turkish beer called Efes. Finally for a main course try the Adana kebob you won’t be disappointed.
