Snowflake Roll. I don’t eat sushi very often, but thus place was great. Delicious roll had prawn, avocado, and spicy tuna. Started with excellent miso soup. Friendly, fast service. Would definitely return here.
I have visited this restaurant twice now. Both times the service has been excellent, and the food delicious. The rice is cooked perfectly, warm and creamy! I can’t wait to go back.
The New York Strip Beef Teriyaki was not only the best beef teriyaki I’ve ever had, but quite possibly one of the best New York Strip Steaks I’ve ever had. Above average price for teriyaki, but good quality meat & good portions. My girlfriend got a bento box & it came with way too much food. I definitely recommend it & will be going back.
It is my favorite place for sushi in the Junction. I can’t offer a review of their entire menu, but pony up to the sushi bar and enjoy yourself.
The Food is ok.. Service- not so much. I used to live in this neighborhood and I love supporting local restaurants, but I have found that the last 8 times I have been to this place (not by my choice) the service tanks my experience everytime. The hostesses never smile, and they never say thank you or your welcome. Call me old fashion but, I still believe that a restaurant should have a tad bit of manners, especially if the food is only sub-par. Final note: want sushi? go across the street.
This is our favorite Japanese place. We are regulars here. The owners see us coming and instantly know me as the beef teriyaki bento with veggie tempura, no seafood and my husband is the sushi lover with prawn tempura. I’ve tried other items on the menu and they are just as delish, but I prefer the beef. The sunomono is perfect and the miso soup is really tasty and flavorful. We go because the food is excellent and the owners are great! Excellent service, smiles and wonderful, cold water!!!
Not again. Wow, i’m completely befuddled by the rating for this site. our meal here was absolutely terrible–as far as the sushi is concerned. I’d gone with an out of town guest and was really embarrassed by the quality of the meal. Perhaps the non-sushi dishes are liked more?
