Good food with a good view. The menu is pretty straightforward so it’s hard to go wrong with your pick. The best for me would probably be the fish tacos. Very affordable and family-friendly.

Great place to go if you love flavorful food. Went here for the first time a few weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great outdoor area with views of the city. I will definitely be going back.

I was pretty impressed with this place. I was there on Wednesday at 6:00PM and the place really hopping. There was lots and lots of seating so it seemed to accommodate everyone well. We ate inside, which worked just fine. There is also plenty of seating outside. The line for food moved relatively quickly, but the lines for booze seemed to take a while. I got the pork katsu sandwich. It was very good and I will be back to see if the other food is as good. The prices seemed okay. Most of the dishes other than the pork katsu sandwich did not seem as filling. The selection is kind of small, but when you have good food you don’t need too many options. The water taxi stops right next to it, which can be convenient. The view of the city is great and the area is worth exploring.

Marination Ma Kai is located in a prime spot in West Seattle right on the water with an amazing view of downtown Seattle and an awesome patio for you to take it all in. Most importantly, the food and drinks were on point! They offered a lot of staples traditionally found in a true Hawaiian-style restaurant, like Musubi, Loco Moco, and Hawaiian Mac Salad, but they put a lot of fun and tasty twists on some of the traditional dishes. The Fish N Chips were fresh and perfectly battered, but what really set them apart was the miso ginger tartar and kimchi tartar that accompanied them for dipping. The kalua pork sliders were awesome too. Next time we want to try to kimchi fried rice bowl! Don’t forget to get a shave ice with ice cream and azuki beans to finish! fortuitousfoodies.com

We tried the loco moco, pork sliders, kalbi tacos, musubi, and a salad. My favorite was the taco. Great vibes. Beautiful view. Not extremely cheap but decent for Alki.

Parking sucks! The food definitely does not. Plan on being patient at this extremely popular place. There is a nice outside deck for good weather days.

Worst Kimch fried rice, kimch quesabilla……. Basically their kimch related menus are bad. Kimch fried rice is just LOOK LIKE kimch fried rice. Taste? Worst. Kimch itself, is not a good taste at all. They need to change it. I think the owner or a chef don’t know real taste of kimch and how to cook it. I recommend them to try Real kimch frird rice and stir fired kimch. Very disappointed. I don’t know how they were chosen from media as good restaurant. Very doubtful.
