First impression is not great but don’t let that stop you from giving it a try. Late 1970’s lunch counter decor, pastel tables, baseball on TV, pan flute and bird songs background music. However, wait staff very friendly, comprehensive menu, reasonable prices, inexpensive ($3.00) beer. Food well above average. Outstanding fish tank. Not a fancy or hip or special event atmosphere; but very good food served by friendly folks (albeit in a cheesy and dated location).
Pailin Thai has delicious food! We ordered Pailin special noodles which come with an amazing peanut sauce- make sure you ask for some of their sauce! We also ordered Pad thai and fried rice, both of which I really enjoyed. We ordered to go and it took us about 10 minutes to get there and our order was waiting for us already! The staff is friendly and there is parking on the back. All three entrees cost $30 but were huge portions. Three of us only ate half of the pad thai. If you do sit down they have a really nice aquarium to look at. We would go again!
First off let me say Pailin Thai has the best and I mean BEST chicken phad thai noodles that I have ever had in my life I come there all the time for a nice sit down dinner or some fast tasty takeout either way it is one of my all time favorite restaurants and the owners are very friendly and polite
Food has gotten worse over time. I’m not sure if there’s been some turnover in staffing at Pailin, but the food seems to have gotten worse over time from the first time I tried this place over a year ago to just recently. it was nearly inedible the last (and I mean last) time I had it.
Mean AZZZZ Thai women. I Have been there a few times, and was happy that I found a okay place in west seattle. My first expereinced was great the food was 4 stars. pud thai. Then the last three times that I have been in there, they have been so freakin rude, like it was a trouble for them to serve us.. and the food dry and blahhh. how does a thai place run out of stcky rice. Hmmmmmmm. Anywho. I wont be going back there. there food is pretty tasty, but not that damn good to where I feel unwanted. I will skip the thai if need be, and go to uptown china. BOOOOOO for the service.
Not very good. When I first tried this place, I expected something really good because of the many recommendations I have received. However, I found the food horribly mushy and it seemed like it was almost out of a can. I definitely will not be going back!
One of the best!. Dynamite dishes. One of the top Thai food places in Seattle. Everythjing is consistantly great. Service and wait time is tops. Kind of a weird house though. The atrium front can be colder than a well diggers…… in winter, particularly with people going in and out the door, but the back behind the fantastic tropical fish tank is fine. They now have summer dining on the front lawn in the summer, which we love. (Updated 11/10/10). You can’t go wrong if you want a guaranteed great meal.
