The food was just ok for me and more highly rated by my dining companion. The place was dead empty on weeknight and only a few other folks dined out on the patio. The place acted like they were closing up based on painfully bright and harsh lights, no music…then sporadic music, the unbussed table, and the stale condiment bar.
Baja Avocado Salad. It’s the salad of my summer. Cool avocado with a (de) light -(full) ly dressed salad with a pequito bit of spice (see what I did there?) I highly recommend adding shrimp and a House Margarita for a perfect patio meal.
Fresh, tasty Mexican in West Seattle!. I’ve been to Pecado Bueno three times and I had a great experience each visit. The atmosphere is perfect for West Seattle i.e. everyone friendly. The menu is not too big and they have the old Mexican standards and some other unique offerings. Whatever you choose, the food is the FRESHEST. You will not get a plate with greasy meat and cheese sodden beans at this place. The enchiladas are so good I could have licked the plate clean if etiquette would allow. The rice and beans are exceptional and put Matador’s to shame. The Chimichanga dog is an awesome spin!The only cons are that the ordering system is weird-you order at the bar and then someone comes into the middle of the dining area and yells a name. Also, I wish there would be more side order options.I’ll definitely be a regular and I’m happy that they are now part of the neighborhood.
