Great wine and tapas. Super good place to go to have a glass of good wine and great tapas. Great view of the sound and mountains. You sit outside or in. My wife and I love this place!
An almost pleasant experience. I took my fiancee and my parents here on a Sunday evening. The restaurant itself is attractive. A nice view, good looking chairs and tables, and a cozy atmosphere that is aided by the wine bars and large chalkboard wall. The service was friendly, but possibly had a hand in the largest issue of the evening. Phoenecia markets its small plates heavily on their site and the menu, and it evokes a tapas like feeling. Our party of four decided on 5 plates for our initial go. However, about 7 minutes later, our first dish came out, then the rest of the dishes came at 5 minutes intervals. It made every plate seem absurdly sparse. The food itself was good(the pizza and prawns were delicious), but the entire meal felt overly metered by the strange timing. I wanted to like the restaurant, but with the type of restaurant it is trying to be, Phoenecia is not living up to the standards it needs to.
