Bad services – worse food repulsive bathroom. My title should speak for itself. I should have known with 3 people eating in the restaurant and one was a staff member there are issues. Worst food I think I have had in West Seattle. Staff was very rude and not inviting. We didn’t eat anything other then chips. It was a huge plate of crap.
Not the greatest food in west Seattle . If u complain too much they get annoyed . I’m sorry but I’m paying for food so u either do it right or I don’t pay for it…. It’s called customer service period … Also learn how too cook a damn burrito or get out of the kitchen ..,
Awful. I used to go quite a bit when I lived in West Seattle, clearly the quality has slipped. The food was just bad and I have been on a diet for six months so food usually, if good, is wonderful. I would not advise going to this place.
Upside: This place is dead quiet midweek, perfect if you don’t like loud crowds. Servers remember you and are welcoming when you return. Downside: decor is stale, bathroom looks scary and needs a good scrub down and a makeover. Menu looks like a replica of what they serve at Azteca… But the quality of food they produce shows that they lost their will to survive in the competitive WS Junction a long time ago. It was bland, the chicken tasted reheated and smelled funny. The salsa tasted like chemical and still had large half size tomatoes in it. Taquitos and Chimichangas: reheated and burned. Guac: fresh but bland. Chile sauce: poured from a #10 can. I hate to write negative reviews especially for an establishment that has seen the junction grow into such a delightful metropolis. I hope that PV can turn things around and once again be a top contender on Cali Ave.
Come here for gigantic I’m-only-eating-once-today portions.Otherwise, standard Mexican fare – the rice and beans are both completely average, nothing exciting. The Pollo Chipotle arrived in a creamy, smoky sauce and was quite good with just the right amount of heat at the end. The downside was that some of the chicken had gristle/ligaments still attached so I ended up hunting for the chicken meat and getting grossed out by the gristle to the point that eventually I just pushed my rice into the sauce and ate that instead. The upside was that the salsa had a great flavor and was spicy but not too much – they found a great balance of flavor and heat.
Barely edible. I’ve lived in the area for years and find this to be the worst Mexican in the area. The veggie enchilada came with the veggies (fried?) and soaked in grease. Also, the clientele and atmosphere are very barfly-skeevy. Seriously–don’t bother.
Great place. I walked thru the doors the first week they opened and have been going back ever since, 12 yrs now? The service is good, the staff is friendly, the food delicious and plenty. There was a time when my dietary needs were strigent….Lalo cooked for me and has done so since. It’s one of my favorite places. Give it a shot, it’s worth it!
