Paleo, Low Carb, low sugar, Pizza.I am giving this Pizza 5 stars because as far as I know it is the only Low Carb pizza in the Seattle area, and it tastes good. It is great to find a Low carb Pizza, and therefore low sugar, because all carbs whole grain or not are turned into sugar by your body. The toppings are very high quality just like all of Zaws other pizzas. The crust is made from almond flower, which is low carb, unlike gluten free flower, which is high carb.This low carb pizza is a must for anyone who is diabetic, has a high A1C, or high blood sugar. It is the only pizza that I eat guilt free because I have been on a low carb low sugar diet for three years that has greatly improved my cholesterol, joint stiffness, A1C, and reduced my weight.
Great Pizza, Bad Location. I’ve only had Zaw Pizza a couple of times. Not because it’s not delicious, but because it’s in a very forgettable location. It’s a weird spot right off the West Seattle bridge. I’ve finally tried it by making it a mission to not pass it up anymore. This pizza is good stuff! I enjoyed the Pig and Pear very much.. after making it at home. I never thought of having pars on a pizza but it sure does. My favorite item however is the Cranny Goat salad. Cranberries and Chevre are my favorite combination on the planet. I’ll be be back Zaw, I promise!
