If anything, this place is amazing just for the view on a sunny day. The bistro is new and I can tell they are still getting a feel for it, but they really appreciate customer feedback and try hard to listen to what people want. The have great sandwiches. My husband and I loved ours. Great ingredients. We did find them a bit pricey for a sandwich but we are willing to pay if the place is right! Something new that they are doing, that I can’t wait to try, is making burgers on Fridays. They have a great patio that on sunny days, has the best view and there is a tone of outside space to let the munchkin free. Did I mention the cute gift shop and distillery where you can have tastings??? If anything, you have to go here at least once. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

A (Marginal) Vote Up. We stopped by here for lunch recently. Its an interesting place. They grow apples, lots of pumpkins, sell some cheese, have a distillery and a gift shop with all kinds of odds and ends, and of course have an informal restaurant. Order at the counter, take a number and your food will be delivered to you. The menu is limited to several sandwiches, mac and cheese, an appetizer or two, a salad, coffee/espresso and a couple of soups. We both had their featured soup which had chicken, apple, curry and rice. It was pretty good. I had the Blue Moo Sandwich, which consisted of rare roast beef, red onion, blue cheese, lettuce, mayo and horseradish on a garlic foccacia. It was very tasty. My wife tried the mac and cheese. It was unusual in that it had apples in it, and it didnt quite work for her. It also wasn’t cheesy enough- the apple flavor tended to dominate. She did, however, eat the whole thing so it couldnt have been that bad. It also came with a very fresh and simple green salad that featured high quality ingredients. Ill give this place a marginal one spoon up. The soup was good, my sandwich was very good, her mac and cheese was below par. It’s a close call, but they have some really interesting sounding sandwiches on the menu which I wouldnt mind trying, and I’m betting that this place will ultimately turn out to be quite good.
