Best fish and chips in Whatcom County.03 Nov, 2014Fish and Chips. Best fish and chips in Whatcom county. Alaskan true cod, 3 generous pieces, coated french fries and excellent cole slaw. Go out Lakeway, then take the S. Bay road which turns into the Park Rd, to Hwy 9, turn left and it’s a couple of miles on the right, A nice drive, but do watch out for deer. Worth the trip. Burgers are also excellent and several local micro brews on tap. Spectacular view of the Twin Sisters.

Great diner! Try the blue mountain burger, it’s excellent. Lots of beers and they have homemade cookies as well. Good atmosphere.
