Tasty pies and a unique atmosphere. Humble Pie is situated among plant life, a chicken coop, and picnic tables atop gravel. Very casual and fun. The gravel gets a little dirty; they might want to extend their deck throughout the dining space. And it has to be a nice night to enjoy this spot as there are only five or so seats indoors. The salads looked excellent, but I stuck to the pies. Mine was a prosciutto, egg, and arugula. Crisp tasty crust. Salty and savory flavors between the prosciutto and egg complimented by the sauce and cheese. Wonderful. My friends’ sausage pie and potato pie both looked delicious as well. 07/24/15
Simple and Great. This place has a simple but great menu – 12ish pizzas, one salad, a few beers on tap, one red wine, one white wine – a selection of non-alcoholic drinks. A great place to meet friends after work.Clean picnic tables out front, friendly staff, delicious pizza in great combinations. Also – lots of veggie options. We were there with our 7-month old son and the location worked for all (he was fascinated by the chickens). An overall great addition to the hood – even if it is in a totally wacky location :). Nice to see it used!
This is our new neighborhood favorite. The structure is a modern pod with a courtyard and even their own chicken coup amongst the urban sprawl. Great quality food with some local influence. Friendly staff. A must try.
If you have not tried humble pie, your missing out. This delicious wood fired pizza is one of the best I have ever had. I recommend the Whole Hog. Wheeler and rainier ave s.
