Not good.. Rumaki was uneatable. fried rice tasted like they combined frozen veggies and microwaved rice. the ribs seemed old and dry with sauce poured over them. I’ve eaten Asian food rom Europe to Hawaii and this place was one of the worst. so bad I’m actually writing a review to bring their rating back to reality. And why the spicy cabbage? Just call it oily slaw.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! The food is terrible, and it’s way overpriced for the quantity. Also, when they screw something up they don’t care and won’t make it right.
Best chinese food in beckley. Great service, awesome building and landscaping. chinese dumplings are very good along with their sushi. one of the best dishes there is thier beef with hot chili sauce.
Good lo mein. Their attempts at Schezuan, however, leave a bit to be desired. Try the spicy cabbage, though. Damn good slaw.
Best Chinese around. The food is great! We have used their delivery service, which is good and usually quick. The chili shrimp is delicious, and their dishes are quite different from typical Chinese buffet style restaurants. My only complaint is that the last time we went, the restaurant looked a bit run down. It could use a touch up (for example, the fabric on our booth was ripped, my c was chipped). Still excellent!
Not the best Chinese I’ve had, but the best in beckley. Pork dumplings are great. My only complaint is that it takes an act of congress to get them to make the Szechuan dishes hot.
I’ve been going to Young Chows for 20 years at least and no other Chinese restaurant compares. People who don’t even like Chinese that I’ve taken there love this place and want to go back. The quality of food and service is great and I live that I can get Chinese or Japanese but I love both so much that I have trouble deciding. We do the family style Chinese entree’s and share most of the time. Love it!
