I am new to the area and on the look out for authentic none chain restaurants so I thought I would give Red Lantern a try. The place has reasonable decor and is well presented. It seems to be more for take-away service as we were the sole diners on a Friday night. The food was very average and not distinctive in tastes. Our teriyaki was dry (deep fried ) and we had to ask for sauce to add flavor. Both our main course dishes had a too similar sauce for what was described and expected from the menu. Ohhh .our spring rolls were great! If you like your dining experience to be alongside the restaurant owners children watching TV then this might be the place for you..but not me.
