I honestly wavered between a 4 or 5 star for backyard. I try and save my 5 star for places that just blow me away. We have eaten at Backyard many times. They always have consistently very good food. The wait staff is always friendly and mindful of your needs without being in your face. Last time we were there we had the grilled Romaine salad and a Jammin Jamaican Jerk pizza. The salad and the pizza were excellent. The pizza has a new drizzle sauce that I think is better than their original. It is a chipotle sauce which is slightly sweet and seems spicier than their Sriracha drizzle. All the flavors of the pizza compliment each other very well. They have an excellent beer selection also. I had one of their sister restaurant beers (The Peddler). It was the Fortune Teller Saison, an absolutely excellent beer. I highly recommend Backyard Pizza and while your there give the Fortune Teller Saison a try.

Very disappointed. I try to eat local business whenever possible. Hard to get wait staff back to table. Ordered chips and queso–chips were stale, queso cold. Could not eat it. Ordered the shrimp/scallops cerviche….not a good choice either. Watery with tough chopped up bits of shrimp that were hard to find, no scallops that we could recall. Tasted and looked like it had prepped hours ago. Friend had shrimp coctail–tough and hours old. Wedge salad was ok–actually the only thing we finished. I won’t go back. Food/Staff at previous location was much better.
