A comfortable place to eat. The food is always good and so is the service. They don’t have a very big menu, but they make what they do have very well. It’s comforting food and it’s a perfect place for lunch, I have always loved going there and then shopping around in the antique shops around it. It’s a perfect little getaway!
Lunch with family. .I only wanted to go there because I grew up on 13th and Jefferson Ave., just a few blocks away and because of Guy Fieri recommendation of the place. Also one of my friends from the old neighborhood had eaten there and raved about how all the veggies were fresh, she had said when she ate there they were out of some fresh veggie she wanted, they went to the grocery store and got them for her. When we were there I asked if the carrots and green beans were fresh, frozen or canned. I was told the green beans were definably canned and the carrots might be fresh but she wasn’t such, they may be from a can as well. The food wasnt that great and the neither was the service. I wont go back!
I really recommend this place. The staff was very very nice. Came around and genuinely thanked us for coming in. The food was delicious at a reasonable price.
A Step Back In Time. If you are looking for a good meal with friendly service this is the place. A good variety on the menu of good made from scratch food. A favorite of locals. Try it you will like it.
Nice service experience, couldn’t believe that they had a couple veggie options let alone an amazing veggie grilled cheese with mushrooms and peppers! Really impressed!
