GREAT burger place in Huntington. Love to bring the kids here on a Saturday. The food is great and the service is friendly and fast. The milkshakes are absolutely awesome – so thick you could eat them with a spoon. Our kids love it… a family favorite.

Milkshake was excellent. I just finished eating a hamburger which was very good, onion rings which were mediocre and a shake that was the best I’ve ever had. It was so thick and creamy I had to eat it with a spoon. That’s the way a shake should be fast food place with a big M. I will definitely put the Cook Out on my list of places to eat in Huntington.

Lots of food for cheap but not the best tasting.. I love the idea of mixing and matching different entrees with a wide selection of sides all do one low price. The food quality is however what you pay for. Great place for a cheap meal.

An updated version of fast food with some Christian values. I expected cookout to be a Mcdonalds, with sleezy frycooks and frozen ingredients, but I left Cook Out with a full belly and a new favorite place to eat. I chose to eat inside, and I was pleasantly surprised by the decor. The inside reminded me of the new Chiptole up the road. The modern front of the house hides a busy back of house. I ordered two combos which are priced nicely. 4.99 for a wide selection of chicken, BBQ, burgers as the main course with two choices of sides(including hotdogs or chicken nuggets as sides) and a large drink or milkshake for a dollar more. I got a savory hamburger with everything on it, perfectly cooked fries and a delicious bacon wrap(bacon, cheese, lettuce, and ranch in a taco wrap). I also got the BBQ chicken sandwich with onion rings. The onion rings were surprisingly not greasy and tasted great. I also ordered two thick milkshakes, a peanut butter fudge and a fudge banana berry(two great recommendation s by employees) Both shakes tasted better then Dairy Queen and not even close to McDonalds. The food came out in 5 minutes and the busy lobby was clean and cleaned several times while I ate. The thing that surprised me the most was the verse numbers of scriptures written on the cups and the christian music on the intercom. Overall, Cook Out went beyond my expectations and provided a great experience with some Godly values too. 9/10

They rush you at the drive through, so mistakes will be made. I ordered a burger with grilled onions and bacon only. The bacon was the size of a quarter, onions were good but they put some processed creamy cheddar cheese that I did not order on it. Burger bun was covered in cheese when I unwrapped it, half the onions were off the burger inside the foil. Onion rings were very soggy, no crispness to them and warm to the touch at best. The chicken queso I ordered was horrible. Barely any cheese on it and it had a mixture of chicken and cheese. On a positive note the milk shake was great. I don’t know 8 it was the milk shake or food, but something did not settle well in my stomach. Average at best and I have to say the prices are good. If you could get quality food that’s not just thrown together I’d come back. Don’t think I’ll be back unless I want a milk shake, but prefer Dairy Queens milkshakes anyday.

Mediocre at best. The chili cheese fries were okay. The burger was excessively greasy and the grilled onions were just greasy undercooked onions. They did not put the cheese fries my wife ordered in the bag so I paid for something I didn’t even get. Not impressed. Stick with Five Guys.
