What is up with this place. Man i went there and the cook was falling around drunk, was sweating on my burger while he was cooking it, scratching himself and coughing. the old lady waitress seeing all that actually brought it out to me. i sat there in the booth staring at my burger wondering if i should say something but i just decided to get up and leave

Face value. Yes, I like the Omelet Shoppe. When you see the sign and walk in the door, you know what to expect (else you wouldn’t be going to an Omelet Shoppe). Non-chain breakfast food in the middle of the night. You want a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with a Dr. Pepper and a slice of lemon pie at 3:30 in the morning? Go to the Omelet Shoppe. You might not do your figure any favors, but it’s tasty food, friendly faces, and open all hours of the night.
