WINGS BABY. Best wings in town……hands down!!!! Thursday nights 40 cent wings and 1.50 miller lites. How can you loose? I’m pretty surprised by the low rating. I’ve been going there for a while and have never had bad wings. ( also give the steak hogie and brew fries a try……delicious)

The Best Fresh Cut Fries and Big Ole Club. Archies has always had a good club but nothing to really warrant a review until now. It’s been awhile since I have been there but I can’t live on the Best Chili Dogs in Town everyday…so it’s off to Archies because I like the club samich and fresh cut fries. The fries were prefect just like I make at home with that unique taste that fresh cuts and only fresh cuts have. They are definitely the best fries in town. Now another couple next to me ordered them loaded so learned something new. It’s not on the menu but they looked delicious although I believe fresh cut fries should be reserved to only Heinz ketchup and vinegar but that’s me.Now for the club! Perfectly crafted in every way. Whomever put this monster together in the kitchen loved it very much and took great pride in their work. It looked like a picture and the taste was even better. They have changed this samich since my last visit and rather than cheapin it up and make it smaller like most places they did just the opposite. It’s bigger and better than ever…honestly paired with a basket of Morgantown’s best fresh cut fries it’s enough for two.
What’s the point of a no- smoking section if they allow a table full of smokers to squat in the middle of it? They just lost a customer.
Best wings ever. I have been around the world, and sampled many chicken wings, and cooked many myself. Archies has the best I have ever tasted. I don’t know how they do it, whether they are sauced, then fried, then sauced again? Or is it witchcraft? I don’t care. Their sandwiches are great, too. Most of the other items are on the good end of standard bar fare. You can’t go wrong at Archies.
