One of my favorite restaurants in Morgantown. The salsa is some of the best I’ve ever had. Great food (try the Thai One On or the Hot Rod!), great local beer selection, and live music on the weekends. Staff is friendly and prices are reasonable, especially since they locally source most of their ingredients. Definitely check it out.
Black Bear is a Morgantown staple. Their usual menu is good but it is worth seeing what their weekly specials are. They usually have an entree and side as specials. Good beer selection and great atmosphere. I prefer the Evansdale location. Highly recommended.
Dry burrito!. Today I went to Black bear with some friends and we all had high expectations for the food because we’ve only heard great reviews! We were the first ones there so the wait shouldn’t of been long. I ordered the build your own burrito with chicken and only had to wait about 5-7 minutes. My one friend who ordered before me got simple chips and queso. It took them about 20 minute to bring her her chips. The burrito was 7.50 which was a great price until i started to eat it. The chicken was not seasoned at all and very dry! It was horrible so I just picked out all the chicken. I was mad I paid 2 dollars for chicken that was horrible! The rice was pretty good but dry also. For the price of the food, I’d rather go to Qboda, chipotle, or chico’s fat! All those places have alot better food for around the same price as black bear!

Love Black Bear!. Black Bear is my favorite place in Morgantown. I have friends who come down from Canada to visit and Black Bear is also ALWAYS a stop for them. Been coming here for years- the BLT with honey mayo is the absolute best!!!
Great Choice For The Team. My name is James Rogers I am the Volleyball Coach at Salem International Univ. I was very pleased on how fast the staff could prepare 17 meals while being as kind as they can. My hat is off to this location how how things ran and the food was amazing.
