What the BUCK man…!!!!!!!!. Since the day i moved to town in 2008, bucks corner pub has been a home away from home. the owner, staff, and patrons are some of the best in Mon. County. since i frequent the pub often i feel like i have built a relationship with each and everyone there. so on certain nights when business is bumping a little more than normal i tend to help out in anyway possible. recently while having a beer after 18 holes of golf, i stopped down to bucks. there was a discussion group occupying the upper deck, which in turn the bartender got very busy. so being a good friend and patron of the bar i decideded to get behind the bar to help out so no other patron would get upset about the service. appearantly one of the group members took this action the wrong way and ASSUMED i was helping myself instead of the customers. we all know what happens when you ASSUME. but anyway bucks is and has always been the one the best spots in town. and if you visit on a friday night, not thursday, you’ll see the bar to compacity. but that loser is probably asleep then….
Need negative stars for this one. Now I know why the parking lot usually looks empty when I pass by. I spent a half hour with a group of people and never got food or drink, so gave up and left. One person was working as cook, bartender, waitress, and probably bathroom cleaner. I went to the bar to get a drink and order food, and apparently I wasn’t the only one tired of waiting, because other patrons had given up waiting and had hopped over the bar to serve themselves! This explains why a place with two levels and a parking lot has no business on a Thursday night. I will never go back.
