Freshest Chinese in Town!. Have ordered take out and delivery numerous times. Food is made fresh upon order. Literally watch them make all the food before my eyes for takeout and never has tasted like it sat under a heat lamp all day (unlike a restaurant with intials GW). Delivery is VERY quick. We live on the same side of town and literally have our order within 10 minutes. I’m sure they make it fresh and send the guy on his way. The best egg drop soup (nuclear hot though! Let it cool!!) I’ve ever had, and never had a bad dish. Way more meat, rather than filler veggies, than you typically see from other restaurants. Husband was very impressed that the Mongolian Beef was 95% beef rather than mostly green onions, as we’ve experienced elsewhere. Staff are very friendly and have started recognizing us. Good prices. Have a nice family special advertised on the door that easily feeds 4 for a very cheap price, if you like General Tso’s and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Pad Thai is decent, but not as hot and spicy as I would like. Highly recommend. Give them a try!!!
NOT Bourbon Chicken. Only ate here once and likely my last. The Bourbon chicken is not what I’m used to. It had a thick, reddish nasty sauce and just plain gross. Egg roll wasn’t very good either. Overpriced as well. Woman behind the counter could’ve been a bit friendlier as well.
WORST CHINESE IN MORGANTOWN. DO NOT TRY THIS PLACE OUT! I ordered a large house special rice and there were literally 3 pieces of tiny shrimp and maybe 4 small sliced strips of chicken. The pork was diced up and the peas were bigger. The chicken was white didn’t look or taste done. I called she wouldn’t give me name of manager and it went from gone today to gone all week to gone for two weeks. She literally hung up on me twice she said that’s how they make their food. I order from chinese a lot and almost all have the same as in portion and theirs is hands down worst with rude poor customer service! Don’t waste your money!
Best in Town. China King offers the best Chinese food in town. The owner/manager is very friendly and always willing to customize orders. I have food allergies and order the steamed dishes with plain white rice and no sauce. The serving is large enough for me to make three meals. I rate it 5 stars.
The worst Chinese food in Morgantown. The portions are very small and the food is of the lowest quality. The steak in the pepper steak is like the steak at Taco Bell and the chicken in the Gen. Sal still had the joint bones in it so you can choke to death on this disgusting meals. Also the sodas were warm and the price was insane.
Worth Trying Again. They are hidden behind Long John Silver’s in Sabraton (where Ray’s Pastries once was). Cashew Chicken, Panang Curry, and Egg Drop Soup were all good, and we will try this place again. Delivery service was prompt to our downtown office (and courteous), and everything arrived quite hot and fresh! Quite a great lunch deal. The crispy wonton strips sent with the soup were perfectly fried (not greasy). The bits of pork in the fried rice were marinated in something sweet. Requested spiciness level for the curry was respected. Mostly typical Chinese-American selections, and a few Thai dishes. The only Thai selections are red, green, or panang curries, and pad Thai. The lunch specials come with pork fried rice and a can of soda. You can add a bowl of soup or egg-roll for $1.00 up-charge. Not the best in town, and by far not the worst. For dinner, I’d probably prefer some others. Among lunch delivery options downtown, the other, favorite places do not deliver. We will definitely order again. Great lunch value.
