YUMMMMY. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Every item I have had on the menu is exceptional and both the service and the staff are fantastic. The decor is beach-y as is their music. Great place for family, friends, and meals. Been here a lot, and plan on continuing to come back.Ps: ORDER THE HOT MESS!!!
Fantastic food. Awesome atmosphere. You are at the beach. Been here 3 times now. We have had a great experience everytime. You walk in and it feels like you are at the beach. Fantastic food, cooked to perfection. A sign over the door would be nice, wasn’t sure we were at the right place.
Road Warrior’s blog. I travel quite a bit for my job and one of the upsides to it is that I get to check out different restaurants. I come into Morgantown every other month for business and every time I make it a point to head over to Collins Ferry road for some good ‘ole seafood. The atmosphere and decor within the restaurant is absolutely phenomenal and the staff are really cool and friendly. Make it a point to check out the hot mess steamer! Fresh and delicious, two thumbs up for the Coach’s Crab Shack.
Bad food , service not much better. We had dinner on the 19th of March. My son ordered a shrimp po boy to take home. The breaded shrimp still had the shells on it. Not even peeled. Went in the trash. We had build your own stsamers which had the toughest shrimp we have ever had. My son got shrimp linguine which he said was tastless. The waitress came back and I told her he did not like it. She said I should have told you it is pretty bland, but did nothing to replace it or even take it off the bill. We spent 165.00 dollars and it was a terrible meal.
Diner Review. I should have read the reviews before going here. No taste!! Had the crab dip. No taste. Cheddar Hush puppies. No taste!!. I have not one thing nice to say about this place. Very overpriced for average food. Food was tasteless and cold. Will not be returning. Very disappointing.
This place is a hot mess. I’ve given it three separate chances to redeem itself, because fresh oysters are hard to find here.Cold food, dangerously undercooked lobster, and a meal of blue crabs that took 1 hour and 15 minutes to come out, and was disappointing for its price, at best. Staff is simply lazy.
Way over priced for below average taste. Crab dip was very greasy, gumbo too salty, crabcake too much filling with no crab taste, iced tea tasted instant. Fries were really the only good thing about this place. Will not return.
