Disgusting!. My family used to eat at golden corral about once a month to once every two months and the food was by no means gourmet but it was tolerable for the price that they charge. I went last night for a late dinner and was completely disgusted. they used to cook the steak to order for the most part but last night it was pre-cooked and sitting in a buffet pan under a heat lamp. my first piece was over cooked and really dry and the size of a small hamburger. My second piece was burnt on the outside and literally raw on the inside..I asked to speak to a manager but he/she never came. another example of a restaurant choosing speed over the quality of their product.
Lots of food for a good price!. We have been to various Golden Corrals in 3 different states. The one in Morgantown is very enjoyable! While you won’t find gourmet cuisine, you will find a wide variety of delicious comfort food. Even if you count calories, there are lots of healthy, weight conscious items on their buffet (which we always get). Their homemade homemade rolls are a real treat! The fruit and salad bar offers a wide variety of fresh and healthy choices. There is something tasty for even the pickiest eaters. Our wait staff has always been courteous and attentive, without hovering over you. Though the ambiance is not great, the food is very good. I always enjoy our meals there.
Horrible. The service was horrible. With a party of five, seven plates or more were piled up on our table for awhile before someone came and removed them. Asked for a refill on my drink and didn’t not receive it until sometime had passed-by and I got a little vocal on the poor service I was receiving and by that time I was leaving. A waitress walking through the area where the food is was carrying dirty plates and texting on her cell phone at the same time. The food looked and tasted as if it had sat there for hours. Not a very clean place. With a bill of over 70.00 dollars we could have went to a much better place with much better food.
Sewage plant near by. I/we really like the food but some food is not replaced and u don’t get to eat what u really wanted, the steak is mostly chewy gristle and fat placed on ur plate by a server who looks at u like they wish u would go away.and the seating style really is like eating in a hospital cafeteria & tables are way to close for comfort. the worst is the smell out side that comes from the near by sewer plant Located in Star city WV Bad location for a restaurant! and the traffic is horrible.
Wow are you kidding me. First I was greeted by a tattoo freak with a 2 inch nose ring with no teeth….. then I have to set in a section where all I heard from the waitress is that her b/f or man I guess is the boss…..then I was going to speak to the manager about no food being on the bar I asked another server to point me to the manager and she was at a table eating herself.
Like to eat? This is the place for you.. If you know someone who eats everything in sight, kids included, this is the place for you. They have so much different food and its all good, for a decent price ($10/adult). Its a nice family restaurant.
