Bomb diggity!. I had my first taste of Hash Browns and New Grounds (HB&NG) yesterday evening, and man was it good! The bright colors of the food truck itself can certainly draw the crowd, but the food is what is going to keep them sticking around and coming back for more. I had the pleasure of eating the Cubano (cuban sandwich) and a couple chicken on a stick. From the first bite I could tell that the food was made with love and from the mind of a culinary genius. The owner took the time to explain the ingredients that went into each dish and I could certainly tell that he loved what he was doing. He gave the impression of a guy who would never send out a dish unless it was perfect and I respect that in a business owner. Often times now I feel like a lot of restaurants are just going through the motions and that is certainly not the case with HB&NG. I encourage anyone who is looking for something delicious AND affordable to seek HB&NG out, you will not be disappointed.
