This is authentic Taiwanese food! Took me back to my childhood. From Kong-ching-tsai to Tien-Bu-La to their jun-ju-nai-cha. Can’t wait to go back to try some more dishes!
Awesome. Fast delivery!!. I’ve never been in the restaurant but I just got delivery and it was freaking awesome. Super fast at lunch time. I’m very sick and just wanted like 5 jugs of miso soup – it’s delicious. Got some avocado and sweet potato rolls too for when I’m feeling better, snuck a taste of the sweet potato and it’s the bomb. Def suggest this place and will be ordering much more!
QUICKEST DELIVERY IN MOTOWN. I order from lav cafe probably twice a month. They may tell me 40 minutes for delivery on the phone, but my doorbell rings no more than 15 minutes after I hang up the phone! Good food, nicely sized portions 🙂
Excellent stir fries, sushi, and TEA!. Service is almost always excellent: attentive, prompt, and courteous. It is a Taiwanese place, meaning some overlap of Chinese/Japanese/Thai influence. The basic stir fried dishes are good, and the pork with vegetables is a lunch favourite of mine. I love their miso soup, and friends praise their sweet and sour soup. All of the sushi I’ve had was wonderful, including eel-based rolls, spicy salmon rolls, tempura based rolls, tuna based rolls, and veggie items like asparagus rolls. Really nice and smoky seaweed salad. They have good bubble-tea. They also have some of the best plain old black tea in town. Honestly, if you love black Chinese tea, go to Lavender and order hot black tea. Sure, the teaware is cute, but much more importantly, the tea is very good China Black, and it has been properly steeped! No bitter fannings here! It’s one of the few places in the area with a good cup of black tea that you can sip without sugar, and just melt. I simply can’t praise the service I’ve had in this place enough.
Best Asian Spot In Morgantown. I love lavender… Its a smaller place but they make evrything fresh and it makes such a difference. I love how they have sushi also on the menu which is great since not many resturants deliver sushi. Im a fan of the chicken and broc with their hot n sour soup. Best place in motown by far!
Best Delivery Around. As far as delivery goes, they are always early, the food is always fresh and hot, it’s absolutely delicious and I’m embarrassed to say we probably order out from here weekly. The crab rangoon in particular are my favorite!
Fave in Motown. I freakin love Lavender…their bubble tea is killer and their sushi is delicious. About as good as you can get in Morgantown if you want some culture. I have never been disappointed.
