Seriously though…. these pancakes are the BEST pancakes I’ve ever had. Every time. SO GOOD. If I could eat them everyday without being the size of an grey whale, I would. Also, their kids breakfast is cute. My daughter loves the chocolate chip pancakes. Do yourself a favor and have breakfast here. You won’t regret it.
Great food! Horrendous hours!. Typically, when I go to such a place, I order breakfast-type meals. I can order just about anything off of this menu, however. Everything I have ordered here is so good it’s actually tough to choose every time! The prices seem fairly reasonable as well. One flaw with this place is the hours of operation. I can’t understand why the doors don’t remain open into the night, especially when the general Morgantown population is inebriated and looking for a place to relax and get a good bite. In contrast to most diners I have encountered across the country, this diner closes rather early every single night. 🙁
Love it here! Definitely where we eat breakfast every time we are in town! It’s not IHOP, so there is a wait for food but it’s worth it!
Terrible Services. I’ve gone four times and each time it took at least 10 minutes just to be asked what we wanted to drink even though it was never busy. The staff is lazy and usually standing around on their phones. The food is good, but it’s not worth waiting an hour for a simple pork roll.
Love the burgers. I have to disagree with some of the previous reviewers who didn’t like their burgers. I’m a huge burger fan, and this restaurant has nothing short of phenomenal cheeseburgers. In fact, I can’t speak to the quality of much of the other food (I’ve had a few appetizers) because I never order anything else!
For once I can say the service was not the issue. The food was just not good. I had selected to have the open face roast beef sandwich and was informed that they were no longer carrying the item on their menu. They didn’t even have it crossed out to indicate it was being removed. So after long thought I selected the fish and chips because how do you mess up fish and chips. Well I know better now. The fish was over cooked and the breading was rock hard and the to top it off it was frozen fish nuggets not even real fish fillets. I could have made it at home better.
Dinner. My wife and I ate there last weekend. There were only about 3 tables full when we arrived I had the meatloaf & mashed potatoes and she had a burger & fries. The meatloaf had no taste & was mostly filler! She said her burger was bland with almost no taste and the fries were only lukewarm. Other than the memorabilia on the walls which was quite interesting, this place had nothing to bring us back. I wouldn’t recommend it for dinner and won’t be back. It might be OK for lunch to grab a quick sandwich or salad.
