GO HERE!. (This review is only of their buffet – I’ve never ordered a dish) I have eaten here far too many times. Their food is amazing. I’ve been to multiple Indian buffets – Chicago, Florida, Indiana, Charleston, WV, etc… This one is one of my favorites. In comparison to other Indian buffets i’d say the spicy level for this one is about a 2 out of 5. The owners are waitress is excellent. Shes really friendly. Maybe because she knows me? Usually chicken and veggie dishes are served (no red meats) – while the variety is slim in comparison to some that i have visited the flavor makes up for it! Definitely recommend this place if you’re in Morgantown.
Great Eat. I love eating at Mother India! I would eat here more often if I didn’t order so much stuff every time I go. My favorite is their chicken tikka masala. I also enjoy their curry and vindaloo. I ALWAYS get their raita to go along with my dish. I could literally eat on its own if no one would judge me. As a nice treat, I’ll either get their mango lassi or kheer…sometimes both. See what I mean about ordering too much? I just can’t help myself! I don’t get to eat there often because my boyfriend isn’t a fan of indian food (not Mother India’s fault–he just doesn’t like any of the spices indian food involves) so when I do get the opportunity to go, I SPLURGE!
Never again! Poor service. Rude workers. While I was in there eating, my car was towed from their lot.
A definite most go when visiting Morgantown! The best Indian food and great service. My Mom and I were in town bc of our grandaughter’s Dr.’s appt. and found this wonderful place and were made to feel like family. I can’t wait to go back and eat and visit again!

Best food in town!. The best food in town! Friendly staff, good service – my water glass is never empty! The lunch buffet is the best bang for your buck and there are plenty of options…although I’m usually stuffed like a turkey before I even finish my first plate! Highly recommended.
They introduced me, and I am hooked. I disagree that it this place is in a bad location. Sure, you may have to fight for a parking spot with some WVU kids on a liquor run, but it’s right in town.The food is the best in East Asian that you’ll find anywhere in Northern WV. I think their portions are fair, and the staff is generally very friendly. If you eat there more than once, they’ll recognize you for years.The breads and the teas really make it. I am hooked, and I’ll be a customer as long as I live in Morgantown.
