  My husband and I come here quite often. Very good food. Some of the best hummus I’ve had. Also love their summer salad! I’ve had several different items off of the menu and have never been disappointed!

  Beer went downhill, pizza still good. I used to love this place when they first opened, especially in the summer when I could grab a tasty beer and enjoy outdoor seating with a view of the river. Unfortunately, over the past year to 18 months, something has gone wrong with their beer. It has had an off taste that I and others have informed them about, but it has gone uncorrected. Their pizzas are still good, but pizza without beer? I will note that I have gotten their beers in bottles at other bars in town, and that still tastes fine, so I don’t know if it is a problem in their kegging process, the storage of the beers at this location, or something in the tap lines themselves. This makes me sad because I know they used to have great beers, and I want them to fix the problem and make them good again.Anyway, if the beer isn’t something you care about anyway, their pizzas are tasty and unique. I highly recommend the Fire on the Mountain pizza if you like spicy foods. I have trouble saving room for dessert, but definitely try their dessert pizzas at some point. One is a s’mores pizza and the other has berries on it. As much as I’m a chocoholic, I have to say the one with berries is my favorite of the two. Service has mostly been good. I have had a bad server or two, but management seemed responsive when another member of my party complained, and those servers were replaced.

  Hippies?. Have been to eat here many times since moving to Morgantown area. Always had great, friendly service. Have never had a bad experience or bad food. Great root beer. Have only had their flatbread pizzas and they are always excellent. Prices are in line with everywhere else we go, not cheap but not pricey for what we get. Everyone we take there loves the food, servers, and atmosphere. We have never had a single complaint about eating here. Mountain State brewing is on our family list of great places to eat for the two of us or our entire family. Hippy is not a bad word as far as I am concerned.
