Organic. I was happy to see the amount of local meats and produce being used in the menu. The smoothies are made with organic yogurt and fresh fruit as well.
What you would expect for Panera Bread. Busy location. Ample parking. Good service. Free Wi-Fi. Small meeting room. On the Evansdale campus of WVU in Morgantown near the Health Sciences Center, Stadium and Coliseum on Patteson Drive.
Below expectations. This is not a strong Panera location. It’s busy, cramped, maybe understaffed? I took my kids there for lunch, and I had to ask the server-barristas to tone down the language–the only time I’ve ever said such a thing. But when you’ve got three under-10s and the employees are calling each other f**kers, it’s a little disconcerting.
Yummy, but corporate.. Not good for you, though the taste is good. I particularly like the greek salad, though there is too much dressing – I always ask for it on the side. The black bean soup is excellent, and my husband loves the mushroom soup. They have organic yogurt in a tube for the kids. The Bell and Evans chicken salad sandwich is great, as well. The sandwiches are pretty good, and it’s the only place in town that I know of to get a panini. Plus, the bagels are, of course, scrumptious for what they are.A bit overpriced. It’s handy, easy to get in and out of, and kid-friendly (a bit too much – there’s this family with tons of kids that lurks by the patio entrance and is there ALL THE TIME!) But, the bread is better at New Day Bakery!!
Nah, this isn’t my Gran. Louise and I just met, but had to share this seat because this place is always crazy busy.. This place could be Bob Evan’s cousin. Bland in every way. I had a brief love affair with the onion soup, but I got tired of paying eight dollars for a cup of soup and a soda. At least they added a larger bowl to the menu recently. Hate the sandwiches.
Pretty lame overall. Something like a food court concept meets corporate Bakery. Bread is much better at the New Day Bakery.Sandwiches are Much better at Nonnas. Food Court at the Mall has better selection, better seating and less of a wait for same general quality of food.
