The Blackberry Basil Fizz was the bomb, and the Old Fashioned was perfect. The edamame hummus and tiny crab cakes were delightful while the entrees (ahi tuna & vegetarian cauliflower steak) were delicious.Afterwards: the ‘best cappuccino I’ve ever had’.A little disappointed in the limited dessert options, but that’s the only downside.

Only about 30% of the tables had patrons yet the hostess told me I would have to wait at least one and a half hours for a table. I sat at the bar for two hours, had a few beers and appetizers. My scallop ceviche was watery and did not come close to resembling the pic provided on here. After two hours The tables remained empty!!! This behavior by the hostess annoyed me and I will never return! I walked down to Iron Horse for a wonderful meal, I suggest you do the same.
Disappointed. My husband and I were excited to try Tin 202. With Morgantown’s continuous turnover of upscale restaurants, we were hoping we had found a new place to dine. While the service was great and the decor was tastefully done, we can’t say the same for the food. My husband’s lamb chops were over cooked. For the price you pay, there is little imagination involved in the dishes. The atmosphere was stuffy and pretentious. Sorry, Tin 202 but we won’t be back.
Great job. My wife and I spent two weeks in Barcelona for our first anniversary. To this date, nothing has taken me back to that like Tin 202. Great job, guys. Very authentic.
This place is the best! Up and coming to say the least. Great prices for lunch, great variety for dinner. Caters to the non college crowd. Kudos to the owners.
Trying too hard. Went to Tin 202 for dinner the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. It was *okay*. They’re trying too hard. Bruchetta was disappointing…sliced baguette (slightly warmed) with cold fresh tomatoes (with a speck of basil) topping the slices. The martini was perfect, but small. It came, though, after my entree arrived. I had the crab cake entree. I thought the mashed potatoes tasted like instant with some red skins thrown in. Asparagus was good. Crabcakes were meh–seemed like canned crab instead of lump crab. Dinner mate had the pork loin…a bit dry, and the mushroom sauce was overly garlicky. I felt rushed. Waiter was a bit too chatty and overly friendly. Loud. But I’d try it again.
