Becki. Was very disappointed had to wait for a menu when we finally was brought one had to share one for entire table ordered our drinks didn’t have frozen margarita ready? So just ordered cokes ordered combo dinners all were cold and very bland had zero flavor red sauce tasted like canned tomatoe sauce we will not return!
Poor choice for a group. Were told it would be 20 min for a table. It was 45. Wait staff was surly. Drinks were slow. Food was slow. The shrimp was so tough in my fajitas it would have made good tires, vegetables were charred on the platter and they never brought the tortillas. Took 2 hrs and 15 to be seated have one drink and receive inedible food.
Rude server. I went to La Roca today. I live in Cross Lanes and is a regular. The server i got was very rude. He had to come back three times to get my order right. He didn’t check on me and see if I wanted a refill of drink. He took forever to take care of my check, when I was ready. Usually i have had good service at this place, but did not have it this time. Unless this server is dealt with, i will not recommend this place because of the poor customer service.
Food was average. Service did not meet expectations. For what was charged. 5 out of 10. With the number of Mexican restaurants around. Not sure if I’ll be back
Always, but never again.. I always visit LaRoca while in town and it’s always good food and good service. However one night this week we went and the service was awful! There were maybe 8 tables (it was only 4pm) and our waiter only visited us 3 times-to take our drink order, to take our food order, and to pick up our plates. I received the bottom of the pot beans-absolutely disgusting, not to mention chewy chicken. Nobody asked how our food was–so how was I supposed to send it back? When the waiter finally came back to collect our plates, I told him my meal was awful and he sort of looked at me and took my plates -no sorry, no offering of another plate, etc. After telling them I wasn’t paying for my meal they asked why I didn’t tell my waiter- because he never came by to ask! I’ve always thought La Roca was best in the valley but it’ll take me months, maybe a couple years to go back.
I thought why not a change of pace? First impression its clean; the the waiters are nice; the atmosphere is alright. Then it gets creepy because the waiters all look like yours in a really robotic clone kind of way. Then comes the food… bland cold and took forever. Id rather be in a dingy rio where the food is fantastic and the staff all are real people with real personalities
Excellent food, wonderful service. We visit this restaurant no less than once a month, its is worth the 30 minute oneway drive. We enjoy the friendly service, great margaritas on the patio and the excellent food. We have been customers since the day they opened and they treat us like family. Love the fajitas and seafood entrees. Tons of choices and they cater to your requests to add spices.
