Best margarita.
Anymore this place sucks!!!! Used to be a twice a week dinner spot for my family. Last time I went they brought us no silverware, we waited 15 min to get some and by that time our food was even colder than when they brought it out. I had fajitas, and can you believe they weren’t even sizzling when they came out!!! To beat it all I was looking for a drink I was asking questions and the waiter told me he didn’t have all day. He is the taller one and I absolutely hate having him as a server. Used to be great now it’s just another Mexican restaurant (without my business)
OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD!. I wish that there was one of these in Grove City, Ohio! Visited here in Hurricane/Teays Valley, WV in July…ordered what I thought would be an average ‘shrimp cocktail’. Let there be NO mistake…this was ABOVE average. Came in a HUGE stemmed glass, the size of an oversized grapefruit…and was FILLED with loads of shrimp…in a tomato, pepper, avacado concoction that was out of this world! It was a meal in a glass! I added an ICE cold Coors Light Beer…and it was heaven! It was so good that I came home and immediately went to the grocery store for the fixings to try and duplicate it! Needless to say…for this place…and this place alone, it is worth the 120 mile trip to have this again. And I plan on doing that again SOON!
Yum. So the food is delicious i used to sneak out of class in high school just to get my fix. I have my favorite, which is the special miguel. I ad dthe melted cheesedip and oh my goodness could feed you for days if you can stop yourself from eating it all. The prices are great. The waiters always hit on you which is funny especially when i took my grandmther. The place is kind of dingy, and not really a first date place because you’ll smell like the food when you leave. The music is pretty loud, and depending on the time and day its pretty crowded.
Best Rio. Have visited the Rio restaurants in Teays Valley and Charleston. Even though all are basically the same with same menu, this one is by far the best. The service is amazingly quick and efficient, and food is always fresh and tasty. Staff is always friendly and is one of my family’s favorite places to gather for a dinner together.
My favorite. First, a downgrade. This is not West Texas Hot. I’ll stick with my wife’s fiery salsa. Most of Mexico is tame in comparison. WVa? Their hot isn’t noticeable to me so this place should be fine for them.I was surprised when we first went there. It was more a Mexican Restaurant than I expected in WV after being away for nearly forty years. The prices are grande, the portions are grande, and the service is grande. The food is decent to grande. Except for emptying a rio of their hottest into the salsa, that is good, also and my wife and I happily put away a basket or more of chips waiting for orders. We’ll be back to go more through their menu, but haven’t found anything yet that isn’t at least good.
The best Mexican around by far. Have eaten there for over 10 years and it has needed some updates ubb the food is fantastic
