Takes me back. I went to school right across from Pizza Place and many of my lunches consisted of food from there. I can still go back and enjoy the same food. It hasn’t changed a bit except maybe the prices. If you are looking to order a pizza for a large group of people, you may want to stop and think about it. While it is some of the best pizza in the area, it is *very* expensive. Also, if you are a health nut…this may not be for you either. The greasiness of the pepperoni alone might offend your tree hugging ways. But for a once in awhile meal with a bit of nostalgia on the side, you can’t do much better.
Yummo! But def the most expensive pizza joint in town , large Sicilian pepperoni only will cost you around $30 :/ but it’s worth it every once in a while 🙂
Hot pizza by the slice. I used to work close to The Pizza Place, and I would often get a slice of pizza to go. Hot, quality ingredients, yum! I still crave it and have to stop in : )
This is the most traditional and authentic pizza you can get in this area; delicious, Italian style pizza. A little pricey, but I’ll always pay extra to help a family restaurant that does things the right way.
Honestly and sincerely…the best pizza I’ve ever tasted.. I’ve had pizza from the finest pizzerias in Chicago, NYC, and Philly…and IMO, I’m yet to have a slice of pizza as tasty as the Sicilian crust pizza from The Pizza Place in a tiny little Rust Belt-ish town of Parkersburg, WV.This pizza is absolutely amazing. The cheese is creamy and savory…the sauce is just sweet enough and perfectly seasoned…and the crust is as tasty as I’ve ever had.
