I have eaten there twice in the last couple weeks on being on a training trip to the area, and have enjoyed both times. I would recommend it to anyone.
Disappointment. Went to the Red Lobster in Parkersburg on March 1st to celebrate my birthday and what a disaster it was. I decided I would splurge a little and get a slightly higher priced meal since it was my birthday. That was a mistake! I got the Ultimate Surf and Turf and the small sirloin was so full of gristle that I could only get a couple of bites out of it. While we were there I kept hearing the servers all around me apologizing to diners about service, drinks and food. Even the manager on duty was out apologizing several times, all within earshot of us. At a table along the windows just behind my wife and I, a couple finished their salads and went to the restroom before their entrees arrived and the servers cleared their table. They even gathered up their belongings and took them to the front desk as lost items. Can you imagine what the diners thought when they came back to their table to find their coats and other belongings gone? Just then, their main course arrived. What a cluster with the server, the diners and the staff delivering the food all milling around trying to figure out what happened. We almost laughed but it was really not funny. I paid way too much for a disappointing meal and superficial apologies. If we go back it won’t be for a long, long time.

Good, hot food each time. I don’t make a practice of eating at higher priced dinning places, due to my budget, but have eaten twice at Red Lobster of Vienna. First was a Thursday, about Feb. 12th for lunch with 7 others. Service was good, food was tasty, rolls and drinks were apleanty. I was very pleased.More recently, I think it was Thanksgiving week, I stopped in for dinner alone, and had a shirp penni alfredo dish that was just fine. Biscuits were good. Even the salad was prompt. I felt I got good service and attention from the waitress, even at a slightly elevated price. But I can’t fault the food or the service.I may bring the wife back for a special treat.
Bad service. I was in Red Lobster Parkersburg West Virginia, i waited at the table 20 minutes and no one came to offer any drinks or whatever.. so we stood up and went to another restaaurant…. i dont think i will ever go back to that restaurant…..
