The Daily Grind has deteriorated!. We went for an afternoon meal. I ordered the salad with Chef’s toppings. There were none! Also I wanted it topped with the marinated chicken, well no. There was just green salad topped with pea sized chicken balls, which were browned (?) and many many croutons.. My companion ordered a club sandwich, (bacon, turkey, swiss, red onion, etc. The bread was left-over retoasted, so she took it off. There was a one inch slice of bacon, old american cheese, dried turkey, and that’s it. Their coffee is advertised as the best in town. Hers was old and bitter. There were young gals running in and out with coffee and much loud conversation from the cooks and the gals. We did call the manager later. We refused a re-do and will never go back. Too bad since the place has always been special to us.
