Easily the equal of the very best restaurant experiences I have ever had. Excellent, excellent food, superb service, great atmosphere. I am over 50 years old, have lived in cities large and small, and have eaten in restaurants all over North America. I honestly cannot think of one restaurant I have been to that I can say was better than Apollon. Appleton’s wonderful hidden gem!
Good food but overpriced. It’s a full night experience that you are paying for. The food is good, but not worth the price, go if you want a good night out with friends and don’t want to be rushed
Wonderful. My boyfriend and I have visited here many times – always delicious & enjoyable. The atmosphere is quaint & romantic – the servers are attentive and quite polite. Any questions regarding the food, they can answer. There staff seems to be there for a long time so I think they enjoy the restaurant also. The food has always been delicious – chicken, lamb, grape leaves-never disappointing-Valentine’s Day – we will be there – make reservations prior to your arrival so you can enjoy this very fine restaurant – you will return!
Everyone told me about Apollon and said it was a MUST. Needless to say I was very disappointed with my experience. The food had little taste and the prices were not worth the food portions or quality. I will try it again but will not hold my breath.
This place is crazy, crazy good. We ordered everything off the menu in the 3 plus hours we sat in that restaurant just enjoying every piece of food they brought to us. There was not a sad or disappointing bite taken that night. We eat there weekly if i lived in appleton. Prices r a bit much but the food was just so good. Worth every single penny or should I say dollar we spent. Can’t wait to go back.
I meet a professor from Lawrence University who eats here every night they’re open (6 days a week). What else do I need to say.
A place to go back to.. many times!!. The first time we tried Apollon, we were lucky to get in without a reservation, we have not dared try that since and we have called and they have been full up. It’s no wonder. A quiet, relaxing dining experience with top-notch food and service. We’ve been there three times and each time we come away very pleased.
