Good beers & food. Visited the beer factory on my recent trip to Appleton. The atmosphere was a little stale, but nice. I’d like a TV or 2 in there. The jalapeo poppers were excellent! My coworker had a hop egg shot…boiled egg in a shot glass with hot sauce. It was interesting. The burgers were amazing. Great flavor. I’ll be back there on my next trip.
Amazing!. The food is absolutely delectable and the beer selection is phenomenal! I have yet to be disappointed with anything from here.

All show and NO go!. The title of my post relates to the sports theme,,, you know, when someone dresses the part but can’t play the part. Well, ABF is the exact same. The positive – the beer is good and that’s about all. The bad – the food is terrible, overpriced, presented in dishes to make you think its higher quality (thus the all show and no go), and to top it all off – the service is extremely horrible. My advice is to train your staff to be more responsive to guests, to speed up your kitchen, and either ramp up the quality of your food or get with reality that your food is average.
Let’s just talk about how great this place is. One of the owners was our bartender and he was super informative and friendly. The food was unique and so well-crafted and delicious. The beer was great. The atmosphere was so cool and clean and pretty. I would live here.
Great new brewpub!. I had the pleasure of visiting the recently opened Appleton Beer Factory during a trip to Appleton. It has a great atmosphere in a nicely renovated old building. They brew their own beer, with four on tap so far – a blonde, American pale ale, hefeweizen, and oatmeal stout. All 3 I tried had great flavor. The food was also top-notch. They have an interesting menu that changes seasonally. Our party tried the chicken sandwich, sliders trio, beer Mac and cheese sandwich, and Reuben soup. Everyone loved the food, and the prices for both the beer and food are reasonable. Wish I lived closer!
