Good Co. not so good. I recently ate at the Good Co. and probably had one of the worst meals ever. My sister, mom, and I were just looking for a good meal and got horrible, cold, gross food. Enchilada was cold and disgusting as well as the plop of refried beans served with it, the steak was cooked properly but still was cold, the garlic mashed potatoes were cold, and the shrimp scampi was cold and had no garlic whatsoever in it. The only thing that was good was the deep fried haddock and fries, but come on how can you screw up deep fried food! The worst part was, we were dining there fairly early so it was hardly busy and all of our food should have came out piping hot! It was very unfortunate because I was trying to entertain my mom and sister from out of town, to a nice meal. We will never go back!!
Nothing special! The only reason I go to this place is because a friend likes it and that’s every other year. Never really had awesome service, and menu is awesome but not the most flavor in a lot of the dishes. I hope my friend stops picking this place, because I have no intentions of returning.
Worst. Dining. Experience. Ever. Save yourself time and money and go to a franchise restaurant. The beer list is sad, the burgers were dry, over-cooked, and flavorless. The fries are disappointing. Steak fries are a terrible idea if you have no talent in the kitchen. Everything seemed to take much longer than lunch should, considering the place was not busy. After a couple of bites, one of our party sent a burger back and decided against another. He was very polite about it. I’m a waitress and am fully aware that the server is not at fault for poorly prepared food, but they are responsible for their behavior in that situation. Our server just disappered! She never came back to the table. They took the burger off our bill, but the waitress abandoned us! She had someone else drop off the bill. The hostess seemed relatively indifferent to our complaints about our service. Badly handled all around. Super lame. The only redeeming thing about this place is the semi-amusing menu.
Huge menu– something for everyone. Great place to go with a large group of people or a date night! they offer customers a million choices from their large menu. menu offers many types of cuisine at an acceptable price. great bar atmosphere with awesome happy hour specials, which include free food!
Used to be awesome…. Back in the late 80s this place was awesome. It seems they are riding on their rep of the old days. The atmosphere is great and the last time I had a burger there it was good, but anything else just seems like frozen, shipped in, mediocre fare. I don’t even like the salads. And it’s hard to mess up a salad. I don’t generally go here anymore.
