Pork Egg Rolls. Good blend of spices, crisp and made fresh
Tried it for the first time. Ordered 2 pork eggrolls for $3.15. I thought they were good. Will go back.
Save your money for something else.. My sister in law said this place was not very good. Well I went in here for the first time last week to try their egg rolls out myself. After trying a bite, I had a strong urge to throw out 15 dollars worth of a crappy overpriced dozen. There were a few unpleasant things about this place. First impressions first: The evidence that this place used to be a battery store is clearly present on the front of the joint where you can still see the shadows of the once painted letters. My first impression was that if the owners dont care about what the outside of their joint looks like, they probably dont care about the quality of what they are preparing inside for their customers. Secondly, for the dcor enthused individual, this is most definitely not a place to be impressed by. It is a quick order and go joint if you mind interior decorations. Third is the customer service. After I ordered from the older man at the cash register, another man behind me ordered 6 veggie egg rolls. The lady in the back of the kitchen making them was irritated that the older man took the order for 6 when all she had ready and available to sell immediately was 4. It was obvious that to make only two more veggie egg rolls was not practical and convenient for her as she said some unpleasant things to the man in Hmong. Naturally I got extremely uncomfortable by her attitude toward him as I understood everything she was saying. I actually wanted to get up and leave. Now I have eaten egg rolls my whole life and the rolls they make here are borderline mediocre. Here are the positives: Its got the mouth watering aroma and has the instant taste of potential excellence with the first bite. The integrity of the combined textures in the rolls are good, and the oil that adds to their flavor is 3/5. The downside factors are that the egg rolls lack seasoning! They also mix the fillings without carrots which has a purpose of balancing out the flavors of the cabbage and meat with a slightly sweet and nutty taste. It seemed like I was eating a crunchy, meat-cabbage stir fry as all I experienced was oil with the lone flavor and pungeant odor of CABBAGE. It overpowered the pork in the mix and there was nothing to balance my culinary senses from the cabbage. Overall, it was just a bunch of low-quality egg rolls, not worth buying for the egg roll ethused or for trying for first-timers.
Food lovers. I’ve been to many a restaurant in 40 years and these are by far the best egg rolls I have ever had. Furthermore they are rather filling. I’m a big eater and I could barely finish four. She’s got my business for a looong time to come.
This place is not good nor is it safe to eat! I took my son to try the food with me a few days ago, we order egg-rolls within a few seconds of eating them my son and I realized the meat in the egg-rolls weren’t cooked all the way! Disgusting, we asked for our money back have not gone back since!!!
They have vegi egg rolls which are difficult to find in a fast food situation in our town so we go here a lot for a quick vegan option and our kids love it too.
Great Egg Rolls!. Ordered two egg rolls and white rice. They were the best egg rolls I have ever had. The white rice was done perfectly. Great food!
