If you don’t like authentic Bavarian cuisine, skip this place at all costs. If, however, you do appreciate fine german dining, then this is the place for you. Not only are the Wurst, Reuben Soup and Pork Shank appetizers amazing, but the pork schnitzel variations as well as the meatballs are absolutely to die for. Not a single thing was overcooked or bland. I would highly recommend ordering the Spaetzle and croquettes, the latter being rare stateside. The finale, Apfel Strudel. You absolutely cannot get strudel of this quality stateside. I would highly recommend Brau Haus to anyone looking for a diverse and exciting meal fit for German royalty.

Where is the rouladen?. I had a meal there when it was still called the Bavarian Inn. I enjoyed it but they didn’t have the German cuisine that they evidentally have now. I have read the menu and no rouladen. That is a favorite in some of the German restaurants in Milwaukee. Also more dumplings (spaetzels) and red cabbage to go with it. Hopefully more German cuisine will be added like Pork Hocks and sauerkraut, rouladen and many others.
