Great atmosphere as long as you know what you are in for. Very dark but not in a just for couples only kind of way. A touch of medieval period feel. Happy hour is competitive, and of course a plethora of in house brews to choose from. Food is fantastic, and quite honestly, very under rated. When you are a Brewhouse, you are known for your beers first, and naturally so. In this case, the food side deserves equal share. Stone cooked pizzas are as good as you will find anywhere. My favorite ilmenu item is the Sheperds Pie. Very filling and satisfying. If you have the opportunity, make the trip. It is well worth it on many levels and you will not leave hungry.

Great Food, Great Atmosphere, Great Root Beer!. Their homemade Root Beer is super delicious. I would have been happy if that was all I ordered. My husband was pleased with their beer, as well. We ordered the cheese curds and they were like none I’ve ever had before. They melted in my mouth. We ended up getting two orders to split between three people, they were that good. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich on a gluten free bun, and was very happy with it. I appreciated their gluten free options, as well as the fact that they source where they get their meat in the menu. The only downside was the prices, which were slightly high in my opinion. Aside from that, we were very pleased.
Satisfied and belly full. Awesome all around ! After long day of traveling and having to change hotels we where ready for good food. Found it on web and the reviews don’t lie. Place was packed but we got a seat at a bar table in minutes. Service was impeccable(apps, salad, dinner on time) highly recommend the cheese curds melt in your mouth as well as the elk steak and burger. Love love love it all including the atmosphere.

Excellent. Recommended by a friend, Stone Cellar did not disappoint! Very good food, great beer… We ordered the sampler and they were all great, and among the best service I have had anywhere. Would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone, and would go back any time.
